FEES FOR LAWYER SERVICES

Attorney's Fees:

Harris Howard, P.A. has several options for you to pay your legal bills. In a family law case or civil litigation matter, attorney's fees are generally paid on an hourly rate. In a criminal law case, attorney's fees are generally paid on a flat fee amount. One can also pay for attorney's fees with a flat rate, a contingency fee, or a combination of above.


FORECLOSURE DEFENSE:

You can afford attorney's fees because you will NOT be paying your mortgage during representation.

    We offer several options for payment of Attorney's Fees:
1. Hourly fee
2. Monthly payment
3. Lump sum payment

    The typical fee arrangement for a foreclosure defense case includes payment of an initial retainer and may include an additional per month payment.  Our goal is to try to have you keep you living in your home while significantly reducing your mortgage. By defending the foreclosure with an attorney, you pressure the bank to negotiate with you and soon they will make you a very reasonable offer to adjust the mortgage.

    All costs are paid for by the client. Costs are expenses such as filing fees, service of process fees, expert witness fees and court reporter fees.  Costs vary per case, but typically don't exceed about $100.00.
